Organic Pure Oil’s Baobab Oil is 100% pure and derived naturally from the seeds of the baobab tree, an African tree renowned for its thousand-year lifespan. This robust tree yields nutrient-rich fruits, from which we extract and press the seeds to create Baobab tree oil. This oil has many uses, such as baobab oil as a carrier oil or as a massage oil.

How effective is baobab oil as a carrier oil?

A carrier oil is an oil that has the ability to carry extracts and essentials oils by diluting them. This dilution is important to avoid harm caused by using concentrated products straight on your skin. Baobab oil as a carrier oil can help carry these essential oils and extracts safely to your skin, with the added nutrients of baobab oil! It is highly moisturizing to use, and its antioxidants promote softer, smoother skin. Baobab oil as a carrier oil is also great for massages. Make a massage oil blend with baobab oil by mixing your favorite oils with it. You can also use it as a facial cleanser. Gently massage the oil into your skin to cleanse away dirt, makeup, and other impurities. Baobab tree oil is soothing to use and may help with itchiness or irritation.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 2 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). It may go cloudy in cool conditions but will return to its natural state once warmed.

By purchasing, opening, possessing, handling, testing, formulating with, reselling, or using this product, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that the buyer has independently reviewed and accepted the product’s label, ingredient declaration, specifications, warnings, condition, and suitability for the buyer’s intended purpose.

Unless expressly labeled otherwise, all products are sold FOR EXTERNAL OR PROFESSIONAL FORMULATION USE ONLY—NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION. The buyer assumes responsibility for any use contrary to the product label, including ingestion, injection, inhalation, internal use, therapeutic use, or administration to humans or animals.

Products may contain the ingredients, extracts, fragrances, essential oils, colors, preservatives, antioxidants, carriers, processing aids, and other components identified in the applicable ingredient declaration or product documentation. Buyers must not assume that any product is single-ingredient, 100% pure, edible, fragrance-free, color-free, extract-free, preservative-free, allergen-free, or suitable for a particular use unless OPO expressly states that claim in writing for the specific product and lot.

Natural ingredients may vary significantly in scent, color, clarity, viscosity, texture, sediment, crystallization, and general appearance. Such variation does not, by itself, establish impurity, adulteration, dilution, misidentification, or the addition of fragrance, extracts, or colorants.

The buyer is solely responsible for conducting any identity, purity, allergen, compatibility, stability, preservation, safety, performance, and regulatory testing necessary for the buyer’s intended use. The buyer must not rely exclusively upon photographs, marketing descriptions, reviews, natural appearance, scent, comparisons with other suppliers, or assumptions concerning composition or performance.

OPO shall have no responsibility for any product that has been opened, transferred, repackaged, relabeled, blended, diluted, formulated, heated, frozen, contaminated, improperly stored, resold, or otherwise modified after delivery. OPO does not guarantee the authenticity, identity, composition, storage, or condition of products purchased from unauthorized sellers or other third parties.

Any complaint concerning identity, purity, fragrance, color, extracts, contamination, adulteration, damage, or mislabeling must be reported promptly. The buyer must preserve and provide the original product, container, closure, label, lot number, shipping packaging, proof of purchase, photographs, and a sufficient uncontaminated sample for investigation and scientifically appropriate testing. Failure to preserve this evidence may prevent OPO from verifying or resolving the complaint.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES THAT MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OPO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW, OPO’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISKS ARISING FROM MISUSE, UNAUTHORIZED CONSUMPTION, IMPROPER STORAGE, REPACKAGING, RESALE, FORMULATION, COMBINATION WITH OTHER MATERIALS, OR USE FOR A PURPOSE NOT EXPRESSLY APPROVED IN WRITING BY OPO.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be limited only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
