Unrefined Kukui Nut Oil

To obtain unrefined kukui nut oil, the nuts of the kukui tree are cold-pressed to release the oils. The process does not require heat, since heating the oil may burn away the beneficial nutrients of the oil. We leave the raw oil in its unrefined state for use. Unrefined oil has many benefits for skin and hair due to its content of essential fatty acids that help support skin and hair health. Moreover, the oil may help with keeping skin glowing and moisturized by aiding in the repair of your skin’s natural moisture barrier. Furthermore, it penetrates the skin easily and does not leave a greasy residue on the skin.

Kukui Nut Carrier Oil

Given all its skin benefits, it’s no surprise that royalty in the past used this oil as a massage oil. Also, the oil serves as a carrier oil, making it suitable for use as a massage oil.Simply, blend unrefined oil with other carrier oils and/or a few drops of essential oils to create a nourishing massage oil! Since essential oils are volatile and harmful on the skin, blending it with a carrier oil is the best way to safely use on the skin. Unrefined kukui nut oil makes a great massage oil by itself or with other oils!

Kukui Nut Oil for Hair

Use unrefined kukui nut oil as a hair mask to revitalize dry, damaged hair and restore lost moisture. Firstly, Coat your hair and scalp with the oil and allow the oil to sit for your desired amount of time. Secondly, We recommend 30 minutes to 1 hour. Thirdly, Wash the oil out of your hair with your normal shampoo and conditioner. Alternatively if you are short on time and can’t wear a hair mask, mix a little of unrefined kukui nut oil into your conditioner and apply that mixture on your hair after shampooing. Your hair may be softer, shinier, and smoother after a few uses!

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 3 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). It may go cloudy in cool conditions but will return to its natural state once warmed.

Natural ingredients may vary significantly in scent, color, clarity, viscosity, texture, sediment, crystallization, and general appearance. Such variation does not, by itself, establish impurity, adulteration, dilution, misidentification, or the addition of fragrance, extracts, or colorants.

The buyer is solely responsible for conducting any identity, purity, allergen, compatibility, stability, preservation, safety, performance, and regulatory testing necessary for the buyer’s intended use. The buyer must not rely exclusively upon photographs, marketing descriptions, reviews, natural appearance, scent, comparisons with other suppliers, or assumptions concerning composition or performance.

OPO shall have no responsibility for any product that has been opened, transferred, repackaged, relabeled, blended, diluted, formulated, heated, frozen, contaminated, improperly stored, resold, or otherwise modified after delivery. OPO does not guarantee the authenticity, identity, composition, storage, or condition of products purchased from unauthorized sellers or other third parties.

Any complaint concerning identity, purity, fragrance, color, extracts, contamination, adulteration, damage, or mislabeling must be reported promptly. The buyer must preserve and provide the original product, container, closure, label, lot number, shipping packaging, proof of purchase, photographs, and a sufficient uncontaminated sample for investigation and scientifically appropriate testing. Failure to preserve this evidence may prevent OPO from verifying or resolving the complaint.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES THAT MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OPO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW, OPO’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISKS ARISING FROM MISUSE, UNAUTHORIZED CONSUMPTION, IMPROPER STORAGE, REPACKAGING, RESALE, FORMULATION, COMBINATION WITH OTHER MATERIALS, OR USE FOR A PURPOSE NOT EXPRESSLY APPROVED IN WRITING BY OPO.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be limited only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
