A Guide for Common Skin Care Issues

Skin care can be a finicky thing; What works for many may not work for some. But there are a few common skin care issues that many face that have easy, simple solutions. Follow these skin care tips for healthier, youthful skin!

Here is a guide for common skin care issues:

Sensitive lips

Your lips actually contain the softest and most sensitive skin. Therefore, it’s vital that you are using Shea Butter as lip balm. This will make sure your lips & skin stay moisturized and soft, while the butter will also protect them from environmental factors, such as wind. Wind is known to dry out lips and make them chapped, but by protecting it with a lip balm, that may be less likely to occur.

Remove Makeup

Don’t sleep with make-up on your face. Your skin needs rest to repair itself. If you sleep wearing makeup, the skin cannot breathe and rejuvenate itself. Just take your time before going to bed to remove your makeup. Micellar cleansing water should be able to help with that. Not only does it help remove your make up, but it keeps the skin feeling refreshed.

Exfoliate

To help keep your skin looking radiant, you should exfoliate your skin around two to three times every week. A sea salt facial scrub or sugar scrub can help with exfoliating the skin for clean and smooth skin. If physical exfoliation is not your thing, there is also chemical exfoliation, which is using products with ingredients such as BHA or AHA to help unclog pores and smooth out your skin.

Sun exposure

Pomegranate Oil can help with sun exposure. This oil can build up sun resistance and help you get a tan instead of a sunburn. This is a natural oil that will cause no more harm than eating a piece of fruit. In addition to helping with sun exposure, it can help with other common skin care issues such as dryness (2 in 1 bonus!). Use pomegranate oil also improve the moisture barrier of your skin.

Smoother skin

Vitamin E is an important part of a vitamin regimen that promotes healthy looking skin. This vitamin helps your skin have a natural glow. You may notice smoother, healthier skin when using Vitamin E because it helps with encouraging skin cell renewal and rejuvenation for brighter skin. Chemical exfoliation can also help with achieving smooth skin.

Dry hands

You are making your hands drier by washing them. Remember after washing your hands to use a moisturizer, such as Coffee Bean Butter, each time you wash up. Doing this can help give you smooth and soft hands. Keep a small container of your moisturizer with you so you can use it on the go.

Irritated skin

Use Jojoba golden oil to help calm irritated skin. If your skin is having irritation and inflammation, Jojoba oil protects the skin from irritants and improves the ability of your skin to lock in moisture. After you use this for a couple of weeks, you should have healthier and more hydrated skin.

Oily skin

For oily skin, it is best to use products specifically designed for your skin condition. Keep your face clean and oil-free by incorporating the right toner into your face cleansing routine. Using a moisturizer that is specially formulated to fight oils will also do wonders.
